You've got some very nice work in your portfolio, FMB! Fantastic! Since you have quite a few images, I've wrapped them in 'expand' tags.
Thaaaank you very much nick! <.< I was kind of worried!!! Thank you for the comments! Any feedback would be highly appreciated!
Lol Tom! <3 Kevin as Chris said you can do anything if you put your mind to it. I started from nothing, no graphic knowledge at ALL. I am proud of where I am now. Practice and keep practicing!
OMG...I love that episode  Anyhow, great stuff. My sister's kid is thinking about starting an Annie blog. If she does I'll let you know and see if you can do a banner/skin.
50Calray, if that's your favorite episode, then you should consider joining my site; Bird is the Word Also, let me know about the banner, if you can't get with FMB, since most of ours works are joint collaborations. And Nei, of course. I started with no knowledge at all. We all did, really... I am happy where I am, too... Arny, please do get back with us!
Except graphics, right? I wish I could do something close to some of the work I've seen and no matter how hard I try, I always fail. Graphics and I simply aren't compatible in the least.
Forget tutorials (I've never used a tutorial in my life). The best way to learn is to experiment. Trial and error and perseverance, patience and you'll soon learn how easy graphic design/manipulation/creation can be (even with photoshop). I say forget tutorials because that's my preferred method (explained above) but learning the tools within a package is vital in progressing to atleast a mediocre designer. Everyone is compatible it's whether you have the motivation and willingness to learn something new which most people don't have and/or are willing to do. I may have missed the part in what software you use FMB. What software(s) do you use in your designs?
If I were to take part in a more hands-on approach to learning graphic design, I'm quite sure that it would work - I may actually do so. All of these fantastic portfolio threads have been enticing me to do so.
