One thing you might put in there would be something along the lines of broken family or something. I know you have a marriage and divorce section but they are really two entirely different lives (not to mention you don't want to have someone looking for marriage advice finding a problem in their relationship by reading a post by a divorcee, yikes!). I say that as a divorcee and a single father with full custody. My life is really not reflected in any of the communities. (Then again I am the minority). Other than that I like the layout its very easy to navigate and the colors are not painful on my eyes. Mike
Thank you so much, I appreciate it! I hadn't thought about putting in a forum dealing with broken families or anything of the like, that's a fantastic idea! I'm going to put it down for a future add-on only because right now there aren't a lot of members or a lot of posting going on so I don't want to add too many forums to make the site, making the site look empty. I've been debating about breaking up the marriage and divorce forum, I think it will be something I do this upcoming weekend because I agree with everything you've pointed out. Thank you for the great suggestions, they've been really helpful!
I've gone ahead with your suggestion and split the forum into two, so we now have a forum for divorce and one for marriage. Thanks again for the suggestions!
No problem, Glad I could help. I'm starting a new one too and believe me there are a thousand good pieces of advice I've picked up from tiny places. This whole admin thing is a lot harder than advertised. Mike
I completely agree, being an Admin is not easy in the slightest. This hasn't been the first site I've opened (though, the others were always writing or rp sites), but I still learn something new every day when it comes to being an admin.
