well to be honest I have a Twitter account but have no idea how it works. I joined up to check out the possibility of advertising. But could figure it out :o Ray Hayes (50calray) on Twitter
You must Tweet it! Otherwise I have no proof you are really watching "Tora, Tora, Tora", lol. /sarcasm
Post it on your Twitter. Then I can see it there and know that you are indeed watching that. Alternatively you can forget about this Twitter nonsense: :mad2: + Twitter = :killpc2:.
Noooo, I freakin HATTEEEE Twitter. It's literally everything I hate about Facebook and MySpace. No offense, but I really don't give a @$%# about what's on your mind right now, or what you feel like doing in 5 minutes. I think sites like those are for people starving for attention. No offense
I looked at the demo video rather quickly and it seems that Seesmic is big and bulky like Tweetdeck. Are they going to offer a lite version or some sort of option to remain slim like Twhirl?
Collapse it down to one column and its practically the same as Twhirl. That is the mode that I run it in most of the time. I have groups and searches off to the side so I can open new columns if I want specific. I actually have three twitter accounts and a facebook account in it at the moment. Thinking of combining two of the twitter accounts but haven't decided yet.
So is that all you do on Twitter is just find people to follow around talking about your daily activities? How do you use it for advertising?
Not exactly... I follow some people like those in these threads and some post their daily activities. However I also follow National Public Radio, the New York Times, CNN Breaking News, BBC News, and others. I also follow a number of websites that post about their new articles. If something catches my eye than I go read the article. My wife is an Animal Right's Activist and she follows a lot of animal right's organizations. One of my accounts is for my Environmental and Sustainability work so I follow groups that post news about that aspect. Ostensibly I have a site for this but it is very out of date at the moment.
ROFL! None taken. I didn't think I'd like it either. But after having gotten 2 design jobs from it, I'm changing my opinion
