I actually smoke cigarettes, but I smoke menthol, Newports to be exact. I'll smoke non-menthol if I don't have any cigs and one of my buddies have some.

How about you? Do you smoke cigarettes?

I gave it up 1 year, 5 months and 2 weeks ago after smoking non-stop for over 30 years.

I'm glad I never tried smoking. Life already has a lot of challenges. Worrying about one day getting lung cancer and worrying about breaking a smoking addiction are two things I don't need. Life is good but hard. Myself smoking would make it harder.

No I don't, but I do smoke tobacco poppers in my bong. I'll occasionally have a cigarette, but I prefer poppers after toking on some green.

How ironic it is that some physicians smoke.

How can any medical doctor who smokes tell his or her patients to eat healthy, get exercise, and not to smoke?

You would think that physicians smoking cigarettes would be something you'd only hear about in the Bizarro World.

I guess because it's their job to do just that!

In reality people rarely take their work home so to speak so why should a doctor be any different? They are just as fallible as everybody else so some will be overweight, some will drink too much and some will undoubtedly smoke. We all know the risks but many of us take them anyway regardless of what we do for a living :)

I've been vaping for nearly 4 years now. I pay so much less and I feel so much better (20 year smoker here). I can breath again, taste again, eat breakfast again and do intensive physical activity without feeling like I'm about to die! eCigs were the way to go for me :)

Time to dig up an older thread
    20 a day smoker for 30 years
One of the first things I remember seeing after having my eye patch removed after my first cataract operation was the nicotine stains on my fingers

Mate told me about vaping last year.
I did my research on what was needed, liquid, mod, tanks etc
I had never seen any vaping kit, let alone tried it
Spent a months cigarette money on vaping gear with mail order shops
The day it turned up, finished my open pack of cigarettes and started vaping
Six months on and I have not touched a cigarette since that day

As a teen, I never thought people smoking cigarettes was attractive looking. Hence, I never wanted to smoke.

Have you forgotten that smoking is a drug? And that anyone can fall into this habit no matter what their background is ..

I quit nearly 10 years ago now, each year got easier and each year I felt better .. And I smoked for near on 40 years ..

God no. It's disgusting to me. Someone I had met on FB and grew to like smoked. We met in person and I noticed it and that was definitely a buzz kill no matter how cool they were lol

If I had tried smoking as a teen, my parents would have killed me (not literally, of course).

Cigg. is the most harmful thing for human life because it contains tobacco and some chemicals that directly effect on our body.
