In the three years I have been here, this is the first time I have seen this. I presume that when you press on Currently active users at the bottom of the main page these are people who are viewing Alien Soup? When I press Currently active users I see Yahoo! slurp spider and the thread that person is looking at. Am I correct?
Yeah, that's pretty much it. The various spiders (Yahoo, Google, etc.) are simply the bots from the respective search engine indexing the contents of the site so they'll show up in searches on those sites. Pretty much everyone else is an Alien Soup user.
All this time you guys haven't figured out that I'm actually a bot spider slurper turbo 2000x model version and at this moment writing this I'm a currently active user... slurrppp slurrppp. "Bahhhhh buuuuuuaaa baaaa baaauuuuu beeeeee baaaaa Juuuuiiiccccyyyyy." hehe :tongue:
