Coffee is... in hand with more brewing. Getting chilly here in the morning now. Is 46 degrees outside so I guess we're actually going to have some fall weather this year.
T'was 42 here this morning. Our trees started turning colors in early September. Earliest Fall that anyone around here can remember. We're going to see a warm 65 today
66 F today for us. The foliage is absolutely beautiful here. It began turning early last month and is now presenting shades of orange and red in particular. I love this season.
We don't usually have fall foliage colors. The trees usually stay green until November and boom over night you have a yard full of leaves. Everything in my yard is still green. Even still have flowers on my Desert Willows and the Roses are still blooming. Was actually hoping to toss out some buffalo grass seed this month to beef up the lawn but temperatures are too low at night already so it would never germinate. Hopefully it isn't raining too much in March because I'll have to use the seed then before Summer water restrictions kick in.
So do I. It's about this time that everything just starts turning. This early fall is a real treat. UGH just like Florida. I'm so glad I moved north.
Ah yes, we got early fall too here. It was a chilly 48 this morning, which was nice. Today's high was 72 for a brief period, 68 the rest of the time. Hot coffee feels so dang good at 7 in the morning.
It's currently 77 degrees at 9:10 in the morning; our projected high is 89. Oh how I wish I could be in some 60-degree weather! No coffee for me today; I've been sick since Friday and I plan to go back to sleep soon.
I'll bottle some up and send it to you. 38 degrees this morning. Too cold for me. That along with the relatively high humidity has my bum ankle throbbing. Going to have to fire up the furnace soon. At least there is coffee. Think I am going to have to heat it up with a little Kahlua today.
Get well soon, Nick. I'll be heading out shortly and am craving a Pumpkin Spice Latte. It's waiting for me.
59 F here (according to my car a few moments ago) and breezy. I drive with the windows down in this weather and simply enable the heated seats; comfortably cool.
Have Chris personally make you a brew? He not only knows how to describe coffee as "silky", he can masterfully make you the silkiest roast you've ever tasted.
