Changing text and phrases

Do you modify any of the default references, phrases or text on your forum? For example, do you rename "User CP" to "My Account" or something?
What are some of the other changes you make, if any?

Mod CP= Moderation Center
User CP= User Panel
Help= F.A.Q. and help Center
Admin CP= Head Quarters

That's all I can remember, I know I change much more than that, but it depends on the niche.

 

"Edit your details", I changed to "Edit your profile"
"Welcome to our newest member", I changed to "Please welcome our newest member"

 

I usually change "Profile" to "User CP," but I've grown a thing for "Profile" and leave it as it is.

 

We have modded at least 100 of them roughly, user cp being one of them, vbulletin message has been replaced and those are the main ones I can think of right now.

 

I have edited quite a few of them, such as User CP to My Controls, FAQ to Help, etc. I've also rewrote significant parts of the FAQ.

 

Yeah I'm with you on that. Custmize to reflect the language of the forum. Forum being one. On one board I changed forum to the gang.
