What are some CafePress alternatives - shops where you can setup a store with various items branded with your logo, free of charge?

I like CafePress, but it just doesn't do much for me, and their base prices are ridiculously high.

I've heard Zazzle is a popular site, but I haven't tried them myself.

Printfection, Zazzle, and Spreadshirt seem to be great alternatives.

Spreadshirt is great. Custom INC is good if you want to buy it before hand and then ship it out yourself, but Caferpress or Spreadshirt is what I will use.

Has anyone else's CafePress earnings plummeted after they made that change to the way they displayed products in the marketplace?

I just logged on to my CafePress account to see if I had made any sales recently, and saw this:
I miss the days when I could set the markup...

I'm going to use the vBCommerce system (by the makers of the vBcredits) and their "real product" add-on to sell my items in the future. :D

We were going to buy a similar garment printer to what CafePress and Zazzle are using this summer, but with buying our house we had to sink too much money into that. :(

Same with the embroidery machine I wanted to purchase. :(

I'll be looking at something like this to have shirts printed in the future if my new site takes off like I think (hope) it will.

Does anyone have any links to sites or information on local companies that could print shirts for less than $10/shirt? I think I may have one at around $7-8/shirt, but I have to pay a 'setup' fee which drives the cost per shirt up initially. Just wondering. :)

It really depends on how many shirts you want and what method of printing you would like.

You're almost always going to have some sort of setup charge for custom designs, but if you want enough shirts, that will average out to be lower per shirt.
