Has anybody thought about suggesting that AA switch to using IP.Board? I think it would make a "statement" if they did, but regardless of that, what do you think?
Why would they need to make a statement? A statement about what? They are a neutral site! Anyway I happen to be a big fan of the current style here, even though I know they plan to change it, but it's good, clean and easy on the eye. And it's a decent implementation of vB with some nice add ons and frankly the only thing they should look at doing is eventually moving to vB4.
If I could stand to look at IP.Board 3, it would be debatable. Although ...There is still IP.Board 2.x.
How would it make a statement, this is a place for "admins" not for vBulletin specific talk. Now if a site that was specific to vBulletin would switch, that would send some shock waves
My gut reaction is yes, change to IP based on todays events. My head says sit back a while and continue to watch the carnage.
That too. For me. Impersonally I don't care which board AA uses. It's not why I'm here. But IP just seems blah. Like it showed up. Even on the forums I'm registered that use it. I guess I just like eye candy.
What's all this nonsense about vB now? I'm in love with vB4 even though my license expired back in August or something. The price is fine, everything is fine over there, stop wanting them to lower the prices, they need money to, their a business. Don't like it, shut up and switch. On another note, I just LOVE the default IPB3 skin and have been thinking of buying a license since it came out, just not got the money to do so. Just please, if you hate vB that much now with all these events shut up and leave it. And sorry Nick, but IPB3 Default Skin beats AA's skin anyday, had to say it XD.
