Is there any part of forum administration that either annoys you or gives you a headache? Personally I find those repeatedly signing up and spamming or trolling is what causes me the most nuisance.
Arguments. Don't like getting into them, don't like reading them. Fortunately they don't happen too often on my forum, but still...
I havent had any spamming for ages, since I added a few things to the registration process. I dont like arguments and things like that, but I really cant say that I have come accross many headaches WRT admin
Don't even have a successful forum...the previous one had a lot of spam. Just don't get headaches over such little stuff and you won't have a headache over you forum. It's not worth it over spammers. ^^
The number of private messages I receive gets under my skin. And a lot of them are just - "hey, can you delete that post I made?" With no link or anything.
Honestly, it is the lack of respect and understanding that I am not freakin' Mary Poppins. My only other technically oriented staff person disappeared off the face of the earth and the remaining staff seems to think that everything happens by magic or something. :frown: I'm very tired.
hmm..i gotta couple of them... the pm's really dont bother me..cuz my members know im there.. my biggest headache is myself i think..im always trying to make sumthing better ..or different... sumtimes im my own worst enemy.
I'd be happy to get tons of PM's, loads of Support tickets in the help desk for help but its soooooooooooo inactive..
Members who choose to act immaturely will drive me to a state of complete and utter annoyance. If you're going to register simply to cause mass amounts of mental suffering for the other members, don't expect any support from me. Posts that consist of three words or less also annoy me to an equal extent.
I added all of cyb's addon's for vbulletin when it comes to registrations and still get about one or two spam accounts a week and it annoys me to hell
