Kind of slow right now. Until I get a job or start work-study at school, I won't have money to buy one yet. I've been scouting out a few places, though. Speaking of which, the place you order your servers, are they fully managed? And this is a bit off-topic, but somehow I got pulled into becoming the unofficial IT guy for my churches today. I start tomorrow. I haven't even started college yet (ironically, for networking), but it should be quite an experience. Gonna need some help when it gets to setting up stuff for that. Right now, it'll just be reformatting all of the staff PCs and preparing to install a file/user server, nothing fancy.
This entire thread is off-topic. My server provider does indeed provide fully-managed services, yes. They're truly phenomenal - the average support response time is less than 15 minutes (I typically receive a response in two minutes... at 3:00 AM). If something goes wrong with your server(s) and you would rather have a technician take care of it, they'll resolve the issue (and quickly). Keep in mind, purchasing servers with fully-managed services costs considerably more. It really depends on how much you're willing to invest and how you build your machine.
Yeah, I know the costs would be higher. But while I'm doing college, work-study, assist a high school robotics team, and volunteer at my church, I won't have too much time to manage a server myself, although I would love to if I had the time.
Ah yes, then that'd be something to go with. You'll be able to work out a maintenance + management plan with your server technicians and they'll take care of things.
Im totally hooked on the Venti Iced White Mocha with 5 shots from Starbucks...I get one every morning b4 werk...and usually one in the middle of the day....
Another coffee fanatic, I see - just recently went out to pick up an iced latte from Starbucks (and Dunkin' Donuts earlier in the day). Currently sipping... 'tis delicious.

Look at it! Just, sitting there! At night, with your lights off, you trust to go to sleep in peace, the coffee cup is empty, you drank the last drop of it. You cover your self and you close your eyes, all of the sudden you hear... " Filllll meeeee" in a low eerie voice. " Filllll meeeee", it repeats! Scared and frightened, you look up! you hear that voice again! "I NEED IT" It shouts. You look to your desk, you don't see the cup! You get up and check behind your computer, you look all around the floor. " Filllll meeeee who ever is reading this" the voice says... You turn around and you look to your bed.... DUN DUN DUNNNNN, you see the cup there, you go to pick it up, confused and puzzled on how it got there, all of the sudden you hear a voice saying "Yo, fill me with some coffee and drink it, yo."
