I used to find the rep system valuable on a forum I used to go on; it was a help and advice forum so it helped me judge how I was "performing"...
Not really, because the niche is already filled. I suppose it would be worth a try, but forum's are generally "anonymous" anyway as you don't have...
My forum's taken a hit to activity recently, but as to why I don't know. It's probably just the fact people are going on holiday, seeing...
I just politely ask people to write another thread. If they don't, I give them a polite warning and take further action if required.
