I mainly leave it as it is... unless it is really stupid or bad writing i will maybe fix it.

It annoys me when i am putting in 12+ hours a day into my site and someone continues to put a downer on things i tend to ignore them and advise...
I personally prefer to go in and out of forums to see what topics interest me...
I added all of cyb's addon's for vbulletin when it comes to registrations and still get about one or two spam accounts a week and it annoys me to...
I know what you mean i attempted with ips but didn't like it so sold it off within a week of having it.
