It was probably phpBB. I didn't stay with them particularly long thanks to the pain of installing mods as a junior administrator.

Not particularly new, no. I've been in it for around 5 months now and before that provided support unofficially.
If I remember correctly, the most recent version of MyBB has a setting to fix this behaviour. Use the settings search box to search for "archive"...
Unsurprisingly, it's euantor too ;) It's a fairly unique username so I tend to use it everywhere I go.
