Well this is pretty strange because I have been doing everything I can to promote and advertise my forum. I bought adspace on many large forums...
The best way for me is having good content on my forum, as that attracts members.
I buy adpsace on other big forums, and I use diretories, as well as link exchanges.
Nay. I cant use promotion forums because of the genre of my forum, which I can understand as I run an adult forum.
I used to use stats counters when I was new to foruming as well, but is not very professional.
I check every 2 or 3 days, I am not worried as its at a steady pace.
Im using vbulletin and its paid. But if I was using a free software like phpBB that ended up going paid I wouldnt pay for it as its not worth it....
