@AWS - Hey Bob. Sorry to see you leave as the leader here. The ideas and services you provided were top, like the test versions of the big 3 forum software.

@Andy R - I appreciated the intro. Interesting background you have. You need an avatar though.;) And please don't be a lurking admin, as your user title suggests. :D

Naah, I acquired it from the guy who bought it from David. I worked as David's sysadmin for quite a few years, then carried on to the new guy when he sold Zoints. It's nothing but a giant pit of spam at this point and I don't have the time or energy to try to clean it up.

The problem is, some people still use it.

How can Doug even pay to keep the services running?

[sorry, slightly off topic, maybe needs to be in a "Zoints, where are they now?" thread]

Not sure if this is sarcasm or not (betting it is) but just because things haven't done a 180 doesn't mean things aren't still planned. You are more than welcome to contribute more positive posts and threads to this site if you find it lacking in that area. ;)

If you admins can't be arsed, don't expect others to do it for you....

There is plenty of content here contributed by non admins. In fact, the majority of the best content has come from regular members. I can assure you though, bumping threads to be sarcastic is not helping anything. Having a look through your post history, it seems that unless there is something negative to say regarding vBulletin or pretty much anything else, you don't have much else input.

I'll be honest, when I saw it was sold, I expected more as well, as was excited at the possibilities.

There hasn't been anything done that has made me want to post, or contribute more, or be here more often than not.

--I have (73) new posts since Sept. 29th. That's not much for a month.

Same view, you've had the forum a month or so now, ample time to get stuff done like creating new topics and show as staff you're willing to get more involved and has not happened. You could even be replying to some topics, isn't there about 4 new staff now, get some new posts listed easy that way. But it's like you're resting on the forum having a lot of content listed already to get members back posting, doesn't work if members can see new staff are doing nothing themselves, this forum isn't active enough to do that.

I'm not carrying a forum with regular posts when seeing the staff just ain't bothered one bit about posting themselves. The ball is in your court, if you want old members to come using this forum, then start showing some proper interest in it yourselves.
