I wanted Signal500 to possibly reflect some on his/her comment. Maybe he/ she might have come to his/ her own conclusion that the comment was completely superfluous and paradoxically useless in supporting what he/ she was criticizing to begin with, a meaningful conversation.

Now, with your (also quite childish) personal attack, the chances are slim to none. You also not only attacked Signal500, you also attacked Bob's work here. I think that is poorly unfair.

Really, you think TAZ is doing good? From what I'm seeing past few months the forum has declined a lot. Latest idea their is to start posting feeds... which people have pointed out is a bad idea so they locked the thread from further replies. See my name was mentioned in sarcasm in that thread, simply because I pointed out other day in a thread started about spam increasing of late on XenForo, which shows how much they hate you talking about XenForo in a slightly negative light. Which I wasn't doing... was just pointing out I'd noticed lots of spam posted on XF past few days - but as usual some can't hack you even mentioning it.

 

And yet another thread that you have turned into Garbage.

I agree. While posting may be higher there then here, the quality of post at taz has declined greatly imo.
I've since just decided to come back a bit active here on AT and I am also at anotheradminforum which surprisingly is the only admin forum tha seems a bit more balanced....people seem to be more ready to discuss ADMIN stuff than the constant software bashing

 

Sure, let's focus on me for pointing it out, rather than the disgusting abuse itself, from people who think they have a right to post it, and which is routinely tolerated now on a site which, coincidentally, is much quieter than it used to be.

The silly trolls who think they are clever by insulting everyone they disagree with have driven practically everyone of value from this site, just as they did with Admin Addict. Bob is the owner, and by some sort of coincidence was also the owner of Admin Addict when it died. It's not "attacking" Bob to point it out. This site is an unpleasant place to be, just look how I am relentlessly followed about with abuse and insults. Is that supposed to be acceptable?

 

You've done a good job putting the attention on yourself. A suggestion. How about the next time, when you feel a post is "disgusting abuse", you just report it?

If the person posting it doesn't like it, they can report my post if they wish. Or better still, not post insults and abuse in the first place.

Mark B. You complain about people posting insults and abuse yet you post a lot of abuse yourself and falsely call members trolls.

You reserve the right to defend yourself but deny others the same right. How about YOU not post abuse and insults.

Matters not to me. I either ignore them, or don't. Depends how the mood takes me.

My point is not how *I* feel about it - I have been insulted by far better people than the cowardly keyboard warriers on here - but more about how it's very obviously killing the site.

At one time this site was buzzing, and people from various forum software vendors would post here. Gradually, all of these people have been subjected to the childish tantrums of sad people who can't handle not getting their own way, and now all of them have disappeared. Is that what the site wants? If not, a rethink should be in order. Most of the trolls on here are banned everywhere else, there's a reason for that.

 

Talking about cowardly keyboard "warriers" tell me again how you run away from answering me after falsely accusing me of being a troll.
Tell us all about how you are so afraid that you decided to hide and not reply to the truth.
Tell me again all about the childish tantrums of a sad person that accuses people and cannot back up his accusations, and runs away when confronted.

 

I love how you are talking about people leaving this site when you have a far greater problem with people AND customers leaving VB /IB due to the actions of the staff there. How about putting the VB site in order first.

Tell me how many good people and customers have left because of the antics of the staff there.

Like the staff on VB/IB banning, altering posts and denigrating paying customers. I just love how you are describing their actions so well.

 

Admin Addict was dead before AWS took over it, had been for around a year at the very least. You don't have good memory Mark do you at remembering things. And actually the forum picked up for a spell after AWS bought it because it was around the same time the XenForo court case started and caused discussion their. Until the court case ended and things went back quiet at AA.

 

I am sick to death of the childish petty stupid crap certain people keep posting arguing black is white just because they can and because it gives them a sense of worth, shame because it's driving decent people away from other sits as well as this one. If you can not say something positive or constructive then dont say anything.

 

To think I left TAZ to get away from this kind of s**t
