This is so true, but you also have to be willing to pay for those who get it too and from what one can read on Glassdoor, IB pays their people below market standards. Scott
It may well be that they pay the "underlings" below par, but this does not seem to apply to the top people. A very interesting read: http://contracts.onecle.com/internet-brands/morita-emp-2006-12-27.shtml I would love to know how much they are paying their VB staff, who have to put up with a lot of the flack for the actions of such highly paid management who are too afraid to come out and answer for their actions to their customers. HMMMM
That made me wonder for a moment as well. But all it means is that IB is getting financial injections. This may well mean that it is investing heavily in new projects and acquiring more companies. 380 million is a massive investment. I wonder what they are up to.
Capable developers have offered to provide a fully functional release for a very reasonable price. This would likely have been a cheaper option than the vbulletin 4 development cycle. Isn't it amazing that a company that has built it's massive success party upon the software that a highly qualified team creates, but then ditches pretty much all ingredients of that success formula and wrecks each and every aspect of it?
Yup, it is quite amazing. So amazing it is very hard to believe that anyone can be that inept, so your conspiracy theory makes for a good reasoning for them doing what they have done. But, I'll still stick with my belief of ineptness. When I saw Joe R. in that video at Forumcon 3? years ago, and when Andreas told me he didn't get much of a competent impression from his talk with Joe and Kevin the year later, that said everything for me. I mean, if your theory is correct, everything IB does and has done for vBulletin is just show. That is a whole lot of acting stupid on purpose. Scott
True. Kind of like saying that the company road map is scrapped because it doesn't have a logo on it.
Lynne wxxx Class A shares 1,065,630 =1.45 % Big Bad Bobby Class A shares 7,010,000 =9.46 % You want the source, then you start acting like a responsible admin.
Yeah, that's what a I thought- another Lie... You purposely misspelled the name. Lynn W. (who owns 1.45% of the shares) is not Lynne (with an e) from vBulletin Support/.org. I have no idea Lynn W. is- I'm sure Lynne with an "e" does wish she downed 1.45% of the company, I sure as heck do.
Is the one showing as being allocated the shares, why not ask her? Yes I put in the XXX as we are not supposed to use peoples surname here. ODD, are you saying there are TWO senior managers on IB who are called Lynn W ? Why not ask her about the B in her name? and you can ask her whether she is indeed the one described as Lynn or Lynne. You yourself use an abbreviation of your first name and usually do not use the initial of your middle name. You do seem a tad upset when you do not get your way it seems.
Yes this is the one I am talking about. I may have inadvertently put an e at the end of her name but at no time did I say she was from vb.org.
Your buddy got caught the 2nd time in a week trying to pedal total nonsense. Don't try to deflect it back this way- it won't stick.
You mean the following line on the government website: B. L. W. Executive Vice President & General Counsel
@The Dark Lord. If you want to argue then you can do so on rantsbbs as we have been requested to do so. Where there is a level playing field and past agreements made on twitter about me being banned for mentioning your name do not apply. Of course you would have to argue without any protection, maybe this is why you no longer post there?
