I was curious what the deal was about "SEOvB" so I searched their site for that term.

They, uh, might want to fix that.

Well what a coincidence...vBSEO disappears for weeks but suddenly the owner has had an accident right in the middle of an unannounced "server switch".

    Cobblers.

I'd say good riddance to vBSEO, if it wasn't for all the genuine customers who've bought it, used it for years and are now truly up the creek without a paddle.

    Atrocious.

Nothing has similar coincidence of your changed posts about vBulletin and the paycheque you receive. So you are the last person whom should voice their opinion on this matter.

Feel free to bring something completely unrelated into the thread in order to detract from what I was saying.

    Oh sorry, you already did.

Your opinion means jack tome because anyone can easily change it with paying you money. I have more respect to any hooker than you.

Isn't that the pot calling the kettle black? You have been prostituting yourself and screwing vB customers for some time now.

So first Dragonbyte was making their own seo app and now they are using someone elses? Confusing.

The product is 100% developed by us, all coding etc is done completely in house.

SEOvB's involvement is purely at a consulting level: We are using their experience in improving SEO on vBulletin forums to ensure DBSEO is as efficient as possible for users. We have plenty of knowledge about SEO in-house, but we felt consulting with someone who has been improving SEO exclusively would help improve the product. We retained the services of SEOvB ourselves in the past and were impressed by the results.

They also have many clients with historical SEO performance data. We are able to compare that data to new data after the switch to DBSEO to help gauge the extent of improvement in SERP and page load time across a large number of sites.

We work with Jarvis at SEOvB to ensure DBSEO is, and remains, cutting edge in line with googles ever evolving algorithms, and to properly measure the effect DBSEO has in terms of improving sites via the SEOvB userbase.

In terms of programming, support, purchasing etc, everything is handled by us at DragonByte Tech. SEOvB's input is purely advising on the effects of Google's algorithm changes and providing test results.

For what it's worth, I've never dealt with anyone called Dave at SEOvB, it has always been Jarvis Ka. Several DBTech customers have used SEOvB's services and all but one were extremely happy with the results.

Thank you for your explanation that was helpful.

    Re:
I trust that you asked the individual "clients" if you could use their information for your commercial venture?
I ask as VB does not have a good reputation for keeping things about their customers confidential.

Any testing/results from SEOvB clients comes via SEOvB. We don't deal directly with their clients unless the clients choose to. We also don't have access to raw data from their clients at this point. We simply get reports of results (one site has moved up X ranks since installing, several sites have shown page load times drop by between X and Y type stuff) which we then compare to the results we're seeing.

We will be looking to do some larger scale testing with more data points in future; I'll work to ensure any sites data we have access to are aware of it and OK with it as per your concerns. :)

The part about the motorcycle accident is true.

The part about any concern for vbseo or its customers is extremely unlikely.

Now that vBSEO.com is no longer available, is upgrading to vB 4.2.2 still possible for users running vBSEO 3.6.0 or will there be compatibility and/or license authentication issues?
