Hey @Brandon ! After using your site for a few months now, I've really grown fond of the xenForo software - I think both you and @cpvr have done a fantastic job implementing it on your sites. So now I want to try it out! I was wondering, do you use xF's Resource Manager for your resources page? It seems really clean and fast - do you think it could work as a CMS? Also, did AT used to be on another forum software? If so, when you switched over, did you notice any boost or loss in traffic/SEO? This week, I'm planning to buy a license to play with in our test environment. Very excited Thanks very much!
I hope the change over goes well for you. Brandon is a very helpful guy, but you have to ply him with chocolate chip cookies to get the best out of him.
Thanks! That is the xenforo Resource Manager. I bought Admin Talk on xenforo already, no idea about the past. Have fun, let us know if you have any questions
Thank you! I will buy both then, and experiment with them How have you found the modification community for xF? Active? We will likely end up needing to build a lot of custom mods. Another one, which might be better asking at the xF site, but do you know when 2.0 is planned for? I don't really want to upgrade our entire site and pay $$$ to build custom mods for 1.2.2, only to have a newer version of xF available next year.
Hey @Brandon, how did you get it to show the avatar of the most recent poster to the right of threads in the forum thread list view
As a long standing member that drops by now and then, I'm 97% certain that Admin Talk started on the Xenforo Software, but I can't verify that as I missed the first few months of the forum as I joined in Jan 1011 and the site was created in November 2010
