Source link? The forum rss feed didn't update with the latest news. What's changed in beta?

Which URL are you using for that feed? I had recently been informed that the vB5 version of external.php is not available yet when I was trying to find the updated URL for the Announcements forum feed.

I'm not familiar with Panjo; anybody using it yet? It appears to be an eBay like service that acts as a classifieds host for forums with the forum admin' getting a percentage of the sales.

I looked at it, and saw a number of forums where it was installed remove it after their users didn't like it. Used to be called enthusify. From what I remember, it basically takes classifieds off your site and onto theirs, combines them with classifieds from other sites, and offers a payment portal for transactions. So, yes.. Kinda like an ebay intergration but they aren't ebay.

For me, my classifieds are important to my site on a number of levels, and I didn't like taking them off my site.

Here is one site where the members did a poll about enthusify/panjo

Seems like another way for IB to make some money off it's customers and this is be driving them away from their own forums.

    Seems logical..

Will this upgrade also support PHP 5.5, or just 5.4? Either way, seems to be a performance boost!

IB is not interested in long term relationships with their customers, they want profit now at this time they do not care what will happen next quarter or even next year.

I never understood why IB bought vBulletin in the first place, they could not be thinking when we have vBulletin where going to make tons of money with little investment.

Thanks @we_are_borg ! Do you know if 5.4 will have any performance gains over 5.3?

No i don't better ask people like @digitalpoint or George of vBulletin and a few others here on the forum they know more about that. I only know that 5.4 has improvements and so on and lots of changes.

Seems the new marketplace isn't much of a hit.

Yeah, IB is going have to keep eating sh**, as long as they keep up the silence about the mistakes they've made. The incredible thing about this is, they keep on going, as if nothing was wrong.

This is why they are failing. Management and support staff are hiding, instead of facing the truth.
It shows a decided lack of intestinal fortitude.
