    Resource Icons and Featured Resources

    Resource Manager Custom Fields

IMO these are going to take the RM to a whole new level. I know I use it for a games database and reviews so adding an icon will be awesome. Now if they would just let you add a Resource Node to the forums so you can place some resources in the path of typical forum browsing that would be cool.

    Create Resource Node

Any thoughts? What have some of you guys used the RM for? Do these updates change how useful it is for you?

I really like the icon to help identify the resources.
I like the custom RM forms too, I'll have to think of a way to use them here.

Currently you can have custom fields using Waindigo's custom field mod. I hope he makes an importer for that when this is updated.

Ah, I really like @Waindigo's mods. I have a few installed here and have installed them on client sites too.
I haven't tried that one though, do you have several custom fields with it on joystick?

I see that, it looks interesting as well.
I'd like to see some live links for it before loading another $40 into the site.

Like what? I really need to dig around and utilize the RM better on this site.

Just more custom fields and such. I may wait for 1.1 to see how different it will be. It's a tough go since I don't have a lot of Zend knowledge so I have to figure stuff out.

I like the improvements, though I hoped for a lot more. It seems like a quick release inbetween. Most of all I like how the XF team simply implements whatever the customs vote for.
