    From the vBull forum a member asked about reading unread posts not working. Wayne suggested the member increase his range of Todays Post query and gave him this to cut and paste in his browser
    http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/searc...ssage%22%5D%7D
    Another staff member said to use this after the guy said Wayne's link didn't work
    http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/search?searchJSON={"date":{"from":10},"exclude":[35,38],"view":"topic","sort":{"lastcontent":"desc"},"exclude_type":["vBForum_PrivateMessage","vBForum_VisitorMessage"],"unread_only":"1"}

    Is this what its come to? To read unread posts you have to cut and paste lengthy links in your browser to get vBull 5 to work as advertised? Not surprising this didn't work either LOL

    That link is so sexy too, did vBulletin go back in time for the technology needed to "SEO" that URL?

    Maybe vBulletin should add bit.ly support so at least URL's could be shared easily.

    Oh you want to check out site.com/{parm:10}-{moreparms}-{date:1030}-sort{carpmorejunk:420}-:0348=p?=923 dangit, I lost the rest of the link.

    This and the slow to resolve pages is what makes vBulletin 5 a pain in the neck to use. Apart from perhaps the search function (and that doesn't work well either), the delivery of new content since last visit is surely the most important function of a forum? At least it is for me.

    Slow, who says it's slow.. I mean it only takes me 24 seconds to load the "new threads" page.. That's plenty of time right!
