DJ - I don't mean to draw focus to you. If you believe me, that's great. If you don't, so be it.

Other people have been upset with you at vbseo.com since before this process started. And afterwards they were quick to start asking you for apologies.

I'm not going to pander to your "guidance" on how to continue here because you showed some level of support earlier in the thread. You'll find me very consistent and moving forward.

If you've helped out a few people there, thank you. Your opinion is also welcome even if I don't agree with it.

If I felt that slow, half measures were sufficient, I wouldn't need to be here talking about anything. I want it done right. Period.

If people have to post screenshots to show that a buy page is actually disabled, that's not a satisfactory solution. Juan is a web designer. He knows it too.

DJ has injected himself into an unofficial liaison role at vbseo.com long before this began. I'm not addressing him as a customer. I'm addressing him in the role he's appointed himself.

If it has to be explained that you need to address everyone as a customer because they either are one, were one, or could be one in the future, then this isn't a venture you should pursue.

I personally don't think that disabling everyone's ability to purchase the product goes far enough toward preventing anyone from purchasing the product. What if somebody were to hack their way into the VBSEO backend and figure out a way to purchase the product? "I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure."

Ilia has the courage to come on here and face everyone. Where is Juan?

A policeman friend of mine once said "if they run they are guilty" We have seen other admins run away rather than face the truth. Why is Juan afraid to explain things. I am pretty sure he is aware of these posts.

Are the legit concerns of his customers of no relevance to him anymore?

Because he is a chickenshit. Taken his money and ran from vBSEO. Screw whatever he does in the future related to the forum world. I'll make sure everyone is aware of any new adventures he goes out on related to forums.

He stated he wasn't going to post until things returned to normal here and asked Brandon to email him when that was the case. Just wondering if that email was sent out since he is still posting his rants against vBSEO.

"Normal" is relative. Good job distracting from the point.

336 posts in this thread have accomplished nothing more than to increase the size of the database.

    Hello,

Juan is aware of the situation. We have been in discussions and during our last exchange he told me he would be addressing the situation in the upcoming days.

That's all the info I have at the moment.

I cannot speak for him on this, but I'm certain that is not the case.

Actually she has apparently saved at least one person from recommending vBSEO to others, thus saving people a few hundred dollars.

Your continued participation in a thread you dislike and have no ties to is puzzling though. If you think this thread does not help the forum then stop bumping it to the top and talk to Brandon.

I don't dislike the idea of the thread. I'm all for a fully functional vBulletin SEO product.
I dislike the ulterior motives, the outright lies, the half-truths, the hidden agendas.
Juan Muriente has no obligation to post here or anywhere else excepting vBSEO.
Therefore, that's the logical place to air customer grievances.
If they are falling on deaf ears then maybe someone should look at alternatives.
Did you know there is only one Better Business Bureau complaint against vBSEO? ONE.
It's from April of this year. One complaint won't get anyone's attention.
Especially since it appears to have since been resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
There are no Attorney General, Secretary Of State, or Department Of Revenue complaints.
There are no Securities And Exchange Commission complaints.
All there are is complaints on this and several other message board forums.
Putting aside everything else, this will accomplish nothing.
If Juan is closing the doors on vBSEO, this won't change anything.
What might is attorney general complaints about failure to meet the terms and conditions of the agreement.
vBSEO had hundreds, if not thousands of customers at one time.
NONE of them have filed a complaint through proper channels.
So, when Juan closes the doors there won't be any legal hindrances to his complete liquidation of assets.
A paltry claim as to how this may have saved one customer from attempting to purchase a product which is, by the way, no longer available for purchase, simply doesn't hold water.

This is an admin forum and people who use vBSEO post on admin forums. Seems like a place to have a discussion about everything this thread is about.

We all have your input and opinion man. What else do you want? Stop opening the thread if you think nothing will be solved with this discussion. You can't seem to do that though.
