Topify Still Scraping Forums

    To be honest, I had never heard of topify before all this vbseo stuff came about.
    I guess I don't fully understand what they are scrapping, I thought it was just a phone app to visit forums?

    It is basically like ForumRunner and TapaTalk but it is free (for now at least. I am sure they will manage to monetize your content at some point considering their background).

    The problem is that Topify is gathering your content without your permission and displaying it on their app. ForumRunner and TapaTalk require you to install their addon on your forum before your content shows up in their app. Topify is literally scraping (stealing) the content and putting it on their app without your permission.

    Oh okay, thanks for clearing that up.
    I'll have to check them out closer, I'd rather not have my content on a site if I didn't install the app.

    Now I can confirm they are also spamming the shit out of people by registering with no intention of contributing, just to spam their product.
