We are happy to announce that XenForo 1.2.0 Beta 1 is now available to all customers with active licenses. XenForo 1.2 includes a lot of changes and new features. You can see many of them detailed in the Have You Seen...? forum.

This is beta software. It is not officially supported. We do not recommend running it in production.

    Please remember that this is...

I tried it on a DEV site and it broke every mod. Which is to be expected with a major update. I probably won't have it on a live site for months. Not worth it and I'm patient. Once all the mods are updated, a few already are, and it is a later beta stage I might give it a try. It's insane to put it on a productions site at this stage. *pokes @Brandon. :p

For the record, the update isn't what broke the site, it was what I did cleaning up an old mod that caused the blank pages last night.
Also I haven't done a restore in about 5 years, it wasn't an easy decision this today. :depressed:

You might want to look at your own server. If you can't rely on your host and you have to do everything yourself then you might as well have your own dedicated.

It went fine, as did the 1.2 Beta 1 upgrade :)

(That's what you get for not using many addons...)

Just some bug fixes, and they changed an XML tag for addons.

(Some people were having an issue where people couldn't register)

    Why do you say that?

Because whenever I quick released an update right after a previous update, the new one always had loads of bugs.

I've seen it in other cases as well. Also, it was meant to be a joke :P
