What email client do you use?

At work I use Microsot Outlook 2007 and I think it is a very good email client but It has one big flaw and it is that its database file starts giving trouble after reaching certain size (around 2 GB). This is a shared problem with earlier Outlook versions but I think it is solved on Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013.

At home I don't use any email client because I check all my mails through gmail's web interface.

What client do you use? Have you had any good or bad experience you care to share with the rest of us?

 

I use Eudora because I have it managing multiple accounts. I'd love some sort of webmail client that could handle multiple accounts, I don't want to be checking each one individually...

 

I just use gmail's web interface for my email. Never got the appeal of using an offline program to do this.

 

Well I'm actually unfamiliar with email clients; I spent many years simply viewing my emails on Hotmail's browser page, but then I realized they did a client alongside Windows Live. I installed it about a year ago and have been using it since - it's much easier to have all my addresses listed and updated at the same time.

My father uses Outlook, but honestly Windows Live Mail does the job just fine for me.

 

I use Outlook for all my emails, does everything I need it to.

 

I use outlook 2010 for all of my emails.

I have 5 legitimate email accounts in it and then on my domains about 15 aliases of different nature that get sent to one of the regular emails.

 

I have been using Mozilla's Thunderbird for quite some time now. I took a break from using it to move to Microsoft Outlook but when the database got too big for all my accounts that I use to check it, it just became too cumbersome to use. So I switched back to Thunderbird. I find it more of just an email client with the plugins that are available for use with it.

 

I use gmail for like my forum's web hosting and domain information, so it's basically for business.
And outlook for more of a personal email thing.

 

I use this for most of my email stuff but I do have my gmail running through outlook as well which I think it's far easier to search and organize in outlook vs gmail.com

 

At work I use Microsoft Outlook. For my personal email I use Gmail's web interface. It is simple, sleek and lightening fast. I do not see why anyone would use a client for their GMail other than of course having access to their emails offline.

Now we can login to multiple GMail accounts in the same browser. How cool is that

 

Outlook 2010 for school stuff. Gmail for personal stuff. SquirrelMail for my VPS. I tried styling Squirrel to look like Gmail, but it's just not the same My new email (new school) uses Gmail though, so I'm pleased with that!

 

I prefer Thunderbird as I am on Ubuntu and it seems to work great for me. Yes, I do know about the issue of MS Outlook but I do hope that they have fixed the limits issues in their newer versions. Unfortunately, I am not an MS Office lover and still use Open Office even on Windows XP

 

I tried to use Outlook, but I don't like it. I just use GMail in Chrome with desktop notifications turned on.

 

I use a new client called Mailbird which I pay $9 a year for. It's pretty good in my opinion, it's everything I was looking for in a mail client. Thunderbird and the rest are just too cluttered and bloated.

 

Mailbird looks pretty sexy...I'm going to have to check it out. How's it play with Gmail?

 

I'm thinking on switching to Thunderbird. At work we have installed different versions of Outlook to our users, also there are some computers that still have Windows XP and Outlook Express and some other that have Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail. Every single email client by Microsoft has its own issues. I'll give Thunderbird a try and see what happens.

 

Very well, it was built specifically to work well with Gmail. Doesn't have the new fancy tab sorting Gmail got recently, but I actually prefer Mailbird's interface to Gmail's.

 

Hm. The fact that it was built with Gmail in mind is really enticing. Gmail has a nice interface and all...but, I'll take a better one if I can find it!

 

I don't think there's a better interface. Since the beginning Gmail has been my favorite webmail because of its simple and clean user interface. They have made some changes over the years but I still think there's nothing better than Gmail.

 

Oh, yeah. I've got several Gmail accounts and even though they'd be easier to manage with Outlook, I refuse to give up the Gmail interface. But, if Mailbird has a better interface, I'd like to see it! If Google were to release a client like Outlook...man, that'd be so nice.
