Posting: do you find it easy or hard?

I've been a writer since I was a youngin', I've never taken a class for it though. English classes sucked for me, I learned how to write better while being a forum owner and writing my own blogs. It's good to practice, and its how you improve yourself as a writer.

 

English classes are helpful but not really vital to our success. All we need is to constantly write and use English in everyday life, then we are good to go. Being exposed to English is better than 1-2 hours of English classes wherein we forget what we learned the moment we get out of the classroom. I too developed my English skills through socializing on online forums where English is the main language being used. I know that my grammar still has a long way to go but I know that I will be able to develop it in the end. I'm actually very proud of myself considering that I'm not a native English speaker yet somehow I was able to communicate with foreign people.

 

I find it easier to create topics that to reply to threads, actually. I like to keeps conversations going, and the best way to doing that is starting them It's not really 'hard' to get to post threads and posts if you're on a forum you actually like. Now if you're being forced, it can be tiring and boring as hell.

 

I find it pretty easy to start new threads on my forum. I also use news feeds to see what is going on to make posts. Since my forum is about reality tv there are always new things to post about.

 

Some days its very easy. Other days I want to grow my hair so I can pull it out. I would sometimes think of threads while driving at work and forget half of them by the time I get home.

The good days are when I have so many that I come up with that I can leave some for the next day.

Oh yeah, very easy for me I go on posting (new topics) sprees on my own forums. I can sometimes post up to 200 new topics a day. Most of the time, I post about 30 to 50 though, it really depends on how busy I am today. I do sometimes post more topics and reply less. The other day I spent all day on my forum replying the topics from my unread topics/replies pages (7 pages long mind you).

 

I guess it depends on what the niche is. If it's something that I love, then I can talk all day on a forum (I've sometimes been known to do this on some I've posted on in the past). Whether it's creating new threads or discussing things with other members. I suppose that's why it's important to manage a forum in a topic that you are passionate about.

 

I find topics to talk about quite easily since I'm a reasonably knowledgable person about many topics such as NFL football, mental health issues, and more.

It's the joy of being reasonably educated.

 

I find it easy to post on forums because of two reasons.

1.) I only join forums that I am interested in. There was a time when I joined a forum that I have literally no interest in but I still joined because it was a paid to post forum. I got kicked out in less that 3 days because I was talking nonsense and my grammar was bizarre. The good thing is that I learned my lesson and now I'm only on forums that really interest me.

2.) I only reply on threads that interest me. I'm really lazy on replying to threads that's why I see to it that I only reply to those threads where I can make a decent contribution to.

 

Yup, you're right. I never did well in School, I was forced to get my GED and learn on my own. Sure, I could have learn a lot more if I stayed in school, but I took that as a learning experience and ran with it.

 

It will always come down to the niche. If you open a forum that you have an interest it, once you understand that your activity will be needed to get things going and you can set up a good schedule to be active, then you should have no issue posting to help get things going. However, if you have a forum you know nothing about, unless you have a partner or something like that doing all the work for you (pretty rare mind you), then its probably going to be a slow and stressful experience for you. I only stick to forum topics that I know something about myself so that I can remain interested in it enough to keep on posting new topics and replies.

 

I love talking very much, sometimes i struggle to start a new topic but i love to reply a lot!! I,m alone everyday so yeh the only talking i get is on the forums and i just love it!!

 

My illness has kind of me on the back foot. That said, I still find it interesting to read and opine. But yes, when it comes to starting any discussions, things start getting difficult and I am slower than many others. Again, the subjects here (the forum groups and their content) are not much my niche - as they are mostly on Forum Based contexts still, I am gaining on my assets and am sure in the coming days, I would be opening up with more of started discussions than mere the responses onto other's discussions,

 

Posting can be seen in two different ways for myself, topics are sometimes hard to come by if I really don't know what the site is about and often I'm not very creative in the first place in order to post new subjects for that fact. Replying to threads is totally easier then making topic posts, simply because I can answer the questions rather then asking one myself because I'm more of the observer type then one to start a good conversation. Starting conversations has never been my forte and I don't intend to start now, anyways the question has been answered here and so I'm going to continue to respond rather then make topics

 

I find it easy to post.

What I find is harder is getting a meaning across, as your expressions etc are not seen and so it can be harder for people to fully understand at times.

 

I've learned to hate posting. I rather do the behind the scenes stuff. I also like blogging that goes toward the forum like I do on my own.

 

I find it easy. I only own and operate forums which deal with subjects near and dear to my own interests. What I find hard is finding the time to post quality material. Real job, real wife, four real kids, real pets, and the administrative side of owning a site all eat into creative writing time.

 

Posting will always be easy, posting quality content may not be as easy for some.

 

So, what's up? What topics do you like to discuss? I'm also alone everyday unless you include my neighbors who live downstairs. My girlfriend usually works throughout the day. So I'm always just posting on forums on my free time and enjoying myself.

 

If Im familiar or into the niche that I'm posting about then I find it easy to make posts and replys, although I much prefer to reply to other people than make my own threads.
However if I talk about a topic in unsure of or had no experience with it then it can take me a while to figure out what to say.
