Hi all I keep getting the Profile incomplete kind of message and hence thought that I should try to get as many things done so that the Account Setup is Complete I am already around 50 odd posts old here today. I am from India and work as a freelance website consultant. Being ill since 2000, I stay at home and work from home. So far the journey has been pleasant. I love to interact and meet with people who share thoughts, ideas and am open to learning and gaining knowledge. This is what got me here and I am thankful to so many around here, who have been great sources of information. I hope that I will be able to contribute too in some way or the other. Cheers
Welcome to the forums! What do you specialise in doing then? Is it SEO, IM, Web Design or a bit of everything?
I was searching for some good places where I would find people who would discuss about Forums, and SEO. I as of now, am just about a month old in forums - My earlier experience was with phpBB way back in 2006-7 when I had a flourishing forum but then, the ill health and my being confined to the bed for 8 months, had me see off that forum. Unfortunately I got involved with website development and never got a chance to recreate that forum again. So now, I restarted with forums and installed one (phpBB again) but during the past so many years, things changed and I today find phpBB is more prone to getting hacked and spammed. I was searching for some help and landed here. Then I started liking the participations here and stayed back.
Well, I am a consultant today so I guess it is a bit of all fields and that is one more reason why I keep joining forums on niches where I falter - SEO for one, Website Server Admin for another. I am proficient with wordpress codes, PHP and MySQL with some of jQuery. I also tackle some designs (though I must be honest and say I dont understand colors anywhere near "well") I have just recreated my professional website and plan to implement all the goodies of SEO I have gathered from the past few months of interactions on various forums.
