What should we do with the Resource Manager on Admin Talk

Some of you may have seen the link above to "Resources" and my question to you is what kind of resources would you like to see on Admin Talk.

I have one "test" resource posted and to be honest, I haven't had time to mess with it to much lately.

Here is a short list of the obvious (to me)

• forum addon releases
• forum style releases
• I know we could post tons of wordpress style releases as far as content goes
• articles
• we could use it at a link directory

What would you like to see, what would be most beneficial to you as a forum owner?

Styles, addons and articles sound like the best idea's to me.

 

We could put the interviews in it?

 

Good idea, I don't see an easy way to move a thread into the RM...hmm

 

Sell websites and licenses with it.
I'm not sure if this is the optimal site for it, but it would be nice to see a directory of developers, designers, server admins, hosts, community managers, etc.

 

Add-ons, styles, and maybe articles?

Alfa1's idea was good (licenses). Will you implement a payment system?

I see there are 10 mods for the resource manager here. (well nothing that I want to add yet)

I'd rather have the tree expanded on the main page, not just when a category is selected.

Also I'm going to shut down the current marketplace for new threads and add a notice to post in the RM from now on.

 

10 isn't many...

That would make sense - better get it used, or you'll be wondering why you spent $60 (+VAT, at least for me) on it.

When was it on sale? And how much was it

 

After the case closed, I think it was 20$ but I don't remember.

It's a shame I can't move threads into the RM, at least we can't right now.

We have a new interview getting ready, maybe that will be the first new post in the RM.

I would've seen about making an add-on to migrate threads to resource manager, but I don't have the resource manager

Now its a matter of trying to fill it up. Consider to do something like I did on www.vb-commercial.com
Adding integrated party scripts should be useful and can add a little affiliate revenue.

I submitted my site to it a while back

 

I've added our interviews in place, I should or added them from oldest to first but it's not a big deal to me..lol

Now to work on some of the tutorials
