Have you ever used paid posters?

I actually sent out an email after our renovations that occurred this weekend, however, something horrible happened, instead of my board sending out one single email to each member, I have members that've reported to have obtained 17+ of the same email which is driving more away than bringing back.

Yeah, that would drive me away, too. How unfortunate.

Did you at least figure out what the glitch was?

 

Yup, but only a couple times. Didn't work out as well as I expected it to. Some posters charge way too much money for what they do, and it's very rare finding ones that are worth paying for them to post.

 

Postloop won't accept me. :/

I don't know. I made 10 posts but I haven't been accepted not rejected.

 

Did you follow the instructions?

More often than not, people miss the step where you have to subscribe to Postloop after you've signed up for the forum. If you miss that step, then your posts aren't being tracked and they don't know to notify you or not.

 

Ya it's sometimes tough to "get in" to PL, but you shouldn't have to make any post if you just wanted to purchase post for your forum.

 

@fattony69, if you didn't get any notification of acceptance/rejection at all, it may be because you missed the subscription step. Did you follow these steps in this order?

 

I have $4.04 in my bank account currently. I want to test the waters before I purchase anything.

Nope, simply because I don't have the money for it, plus I think it's a waste of time spending money on people who'll post and never come back. I get that the idea is they provide some content to your site, but for me it's not really much of a benefit.

 

I have tried them (some people on Fiverr and a brief trial of Postloop) but for the most part the quality of the posts was seriously lacking. Paid posters are generally more concerned about banging out the required number of words than formulating a meaningful thread or helpful reply. That said, there are always some good ones; so if you find one, hang on to them!
