Yes exactly, they can use the points to promote their sites.
There will be 3 big winners that will all get postloop points that will be credited to their account at postloop.com

 

Hey Brandon I'm confused. It seems like my points disappeared.
I had about 700 and i was in the top users(like 6 or 7) now i have 20-30 :/

 

Was this since we updated the points mod?
We had a small issue and had to reset the contest.

 

this was a couple of days ago and i looked today and i noticed the big difference

 

Without knowing what you were last doing I can't look into this issue at all. Each problem that arises is the result of a certain aspect of the mod. It also allows me to narrow down the problem area and fix it.

Does this mean that the contest is down at the moment? I got intrigued by the atxp so I did a little forum search. I found out that it is part of the contest here at Admin-Talk. Cool contest if you ask me. I hope that I can still take part in this contest since I really like the prizes.

 

yup it's on hold for right now, we still have all prizes and we may get a vBulletin license to throw in the mix

but for now, the contest is off
