Does anyone know of any websites that offer free wordpress themes that requires no linkbacks (can be the designer's website, etc). Obviously, I'm not looking for warez websites or sites that steals themes and gives 'em away for free.
I thought the wordpress.org ones stopped accepting wordpess styles with links or the "sponsored" links you see.
I hate those. Hate. Hate. HATE. I try to look for a WP gaming theme; 50% of them require you to keep those footer links, and those sponsored links, too. Annoying. Not a lot of gaming skins going around these days. It's like hitting a block every time. I ended up having to purchase a wordpress skin for one of my projects, this one. I have two other projects in the pipeline, and it looks like I'll have to spend more...
I have no problem with a link back to the designers but 4 or 5 links is a bit much, that's why I suggested wordpress.org since they have policies on sponsored links.
