From what I have seen there are currently NO ad networks that pays better than Google Adsense, assuming that you are indeed referring to CPC networks, and not some CPA networks. Where shall you find some ad networks that pays even $10 and in some cases even $50 ? Feel free to enlighten me, if you had indeed found such a network, as I have never seen one in all my years.

Well to tell you the truth, there is no true alternative to Adsense. There are lots of contextual ad programs out there but none of them can match the reach or match the number of advertisers. If you still want to try other networks, check out Kontera, Chitika, Adbrite, infolinks among others. Infolinks has better payouts than other networks but it also depends on your niche.

Quite true. Adbrite pays quite low. In one niche, Adsense pays me more than $1 per click, and Adsense pays just $0.01! Cant even imagine how someone can think of them as an Adsense alternative.

I tried Adversal recently. So far, they pay near as mush as Adsense does.

Is the ad company new? How long has it been around? I've tried Kontera in the past along side Adsense and I averaged $5-$10/day, but then I tried it again last year and I didn't make as much. I was even quoted in the Kontera blog http://blog.kontera.com/2007/11/29/...h-konteras-contentlinks™-to-increase-revenue/: Currently, I just use Adsense.

Personally I think adsense is still the best, most guys have really low traffic to their sites yet they expect to make 100s if not 1000s of dollars from adsense. I mean, adsense is not about setting up a flimsy forum or website and then you expect to reap from it. It's just impossible.

Forbes recently did a story on internet advertising. It said you have a better chance of hitting the lottery than of someone clicking on your ads.

It is a matter of traffic. I would be curious to see how many clicks the major sites can have each months

It depends as usually Google pays extra to high traffic and revenue sites so that they keep using their service. I know there are thousands better than Google for smaller websites or forums but I am not too sure about high traffic websites or forums.

I've used adsense in the past but haven't gotten anywhere with it,apparently I put my ad somewhere I shouldn't of and it was then disabled and I have tried to get it active again and tried to work something out with the support team but to no avail they said they can't re active my account and so I guess I'm stuck with having nothing. I've used kontera and haven't really made anything off of it so now I will try some other things that I've seen mentioned in this thread, will give you an update in a month or so on the ad front and will see how I like it. Trying to find good ad sites to put in my blog has been a pain in the rear and right now I'm pretty frustrated with the whole deal.
