Well compared to what? Not compared to decent software anyway.

 

In fixing bugs fast. I am not comparing it to anything.

 

Fair enough. Although cynically, if they coded it well in the first place, they wouldn't need to keep fixing all these bugs.

 

Nothing is perfect in its first try. You think Xenforo and IPB got it right the first time?

I find it disrespectful to the customers to price it so high and release to purchase/download when it's CLEARLY not ready to be released and run on a live setting. I mean Beta 15 just shows me they didn't care, they release something to make a buzz and are now working desperately to make it usable.

 

Anyone one here running vB5 live yet? Doubtful but can't hurt to ask. I wonder how they are going to revamp the CMS - if at all - for release in vB5.

 

I think someone is running it live, but it is only a small forum. They are over on vb.com

 

Sneaky of them to offer a discount and then ticket support for only 30 days... Thinking of people who purchased it and havn't gone live yet. If you have issues after it's out of beta your SOL - unless the 30 days of ticket supports starts once vB5 is out of BETA.
