What domain registrant are you with?

I am currently with GoDaddy with all my domains, but I am looking to see what else is out there.

I don't use anything else besides Namecheap. They're one of the best domain companies in the world, I'd say.

I use Namecheap and Namecheap alone. I've used Godaddy a long time ago, but didn't like the ui, so just stuck with namecheap.

Namecheap. Wasn't pleased with godaddy and NC seems to be easier and nicer to use.

I've been with Godaddy 8 years now and found that their service, discount coupons, and customer support is by far better than 80% of most the others out there in the industry. The only annoying thing one has to deal with is all the upsell tactics during the checkout process. Once you get used to it though, the coupon discounts are well worth having to click No, Next, Skip every once in a while.

I've also found (personally) that keeping all my domains in one place is way easier to manage. Back in the day when I had them scattered everywhere it was common to forget about a couple and them either expire or get hit with a renewal notice I wasn't expecting. Which is a little disappointing because if I had remembered I had it, I might have been able to sell it or develop it to generate a profit before renewal time. So now days to avoid accidents, I just keep all my domains at Godaddy.

I have had some really bad experiences with other registrars / hosting companies and can say that the grass is definitely not always greener on the other side of the fence, So I just stick with whats worked out great for 8 years and counting for me now (Less headaches).

I remember back in 2004, I used registerfly. That place sucked.

Weren't they the company that went belly up and left thousands of registrants without access to their domains a few years back? You bit a bullet on that one.

I believe so. They didn't want to release my domain to Namecheap, then they finally did after I contacted Enom about it.

I recently transfered from GoDaddy to BlueHost.

It wasn't anything that GoDaddy did, I wanted a reliable host and all my research pointed to Blue Host. So I decided to switch my domain to them when I purchased a hosting plan

I have all of my names at eNom except for 1 that is at 101domain.com (due to it being an extension that eNom doesn't offer).

Their support has always been good to me. I just don't see myself switching to someone else.

Namecheap's awesome. They don't annoy you unless you are doing the wrong thing. They allow you to pay for your domain names in the way how you want to pay for them. They also have a pretty cool quiz on twitter

I have 95% of my domains with Godaddy, a few with Namecheap then I think I still have a random domain with another company that I picked up during a purchase.
I know a lot of people dropped Godaddy not to long ago for this reason or that. I have no problems with the domain side of Godaddy, now hosting is another thing..lol

Both GoDaddy and Namecheap hosting are horrible. I think I posted here about a Name Cheap server being hacked and they messed with my WP installs. Namecheap support never owned up to it being a problem with their server meanwhile other sites on the same server were complaining about the same problem.

I started with NetworkSolutions many domains ago, then switched to GoDaddy after seeing how much cheaper they were. IIRC this was at least 10+ yrs ago, maybe even 15. ;)

I migrated my blog from GoDaddy one week after I started hosting with them. It took about 5 minutes, if not more, for the site to load.

I am happy with Blue Host but I've been with them for less than 2 months

I had a forum on Blue Host until I started getting resource issues, then made the switch to ServInt.
