What do you use to track your SERP's

I've used a few programs in the past, one is IBP and another is Digitalpoint's tracker tool.
I've been looking around for a new tool and I see this one has a 30 day free trial, has anyone heard of Webposition?


If so what are your thoughts on it, and also what have you used, what would you recommend to someone on a budget?

http://www.traffictravis.com/ is pretty cool and they offer a free version for you to test out, but the free version does have some limitations, though what they are I can't remember.

I'm looking for an application to track SERPs of my sites and my competition.

Does anyone have experience with the @digitalpoint keyword tracker?

I may purchase it if it has a nicer paid option.

Have you looked at traffic travis at all? I use the paid (pro) version and I've found it to be pretty useful.

I usually use Google webmaster tools, but something else could be better for me. If anyone has something better for free let me know.

 

Our keyword tracker is one of the reasons we had to start a forum (it was so popular we needed a support venue). Back then that's what we were known for. Now that the forum got so big, the new people don't even know about it.

But it's quite popular... 100,000 registered users using it to track over 3 million keywords (I think it has something like 400M historical points of data now. It's also free for being able to search up to 20 places deep for unlimited keywords/domains (you can even track competitors).

 

Does it just track Google and Bing, or is there a spot for Yahoo as well?

 

It used to track Yahoo, but Yahoo killed their API when Bing starting doing their search. And because Yahoo results are really Bing now, there really isn't a point anyway.

 

That's what I figured, but just wanted to double check.

 

I didn't know that existed, will have to go play with it.

 

I've used SEO Powersuite but found it inaccurate. Nowadays I use Rankcheckerace and whatmyserp.com and will combine them to figure out the rank. I've yet to find a tracker that it always 100% accurate.

 

I use Market Samurai to track my SERP rankings. However, I am using the trial version, so I will have to use a new email to continue following my rankings every 2 weeks. Market Samurai is rather easy to use, so I would highly recommend you to try them out. They have some cheesy beginner videos that educate you on how to do SEO and all that basic stuff.

I have been using them for almost 3 years.

 

I find that a lot of the Good Backlink checkers I used to use have turned bad and don't work or don't find new links as fast as they should be anymore.

I now just use the free simple tools at smallseotools dot com, mainly their KeyWord Position Tool and BackLinks Checker. For free tools they are pretty good, accurate and get the job done. As for the tracking side, as these tools don't keep any records I just manually record my findings on an Excel Spreadsheet each time I do an update check.
