    Set your usergroup permissions for the Unregistered/Not logged in group to allow viewing and commenting on blogs.

    I don't have a vB 4 install up to look at usergroup permissions but it's definitely a permissions issue.

    Maybe you can talk with @Dan Hutter and have him take a look, he's a good guy and I put my trust behind him, not sure what it would cost$.
    I took and quick look yesterday and everything looked good.
    The only thing I could think of is a plugin causing issues, but I looked through your plugins and besides several disabled ones (I'd removed those, clean the place up) I didn't see anything that would restrict permissions. :(

    It might be a problem with one of the main files. Perhaps, re-install vBulletin - and backup the database and such? Might do the trick, not entirely sure though.

    Your permissions look correct if they're for the Unregistered/Not Logged In group. Are you running any add-ons? They could be interfering.

    @Brandon Thanks. :)

    @Brandon - thanks a lot for your help, I have uninstalled every plugin not in use however there is one particular plugin called DragonByte Tech: Advanced User Tagging (Lite) which is giving an error during uninstalling it and I am unable to remove it. Do you think it is causing the issue. @Dan Hutter - please let me know the best way to reach you to discuss the issue further.

    @Dan Hutter - Apology but is there a restriction on admin-talk forums to have X amount of posts before I can send a PM? I am not able to see the option.

    I'm using that on my forums as well. When they update the plugin, my buddy always seems to update it @Iconic I'm surprised its erroring for you though, its a really good plugin, and our users love it.

    One reason why plugins error out when trying to uninstall them is missing files.
    Make sure the xml files in your includes folder for that plugin are in place @Ankit.

    Turns out this was in issue with default registrations options for the blog. The options were set to that guests and non-friends couldn't comment on blog posts by default. Unless the user explicitly set the blog as commentable by guests no guests would be able to comment.
