Posting topics, and posts, are quite easy for me because I'm very creative, and I love to post because it also helps me build my name.

So, thus do you find yourself pulling your hair to come up with new topics for you forum, or do you find it easy?

It can be easy, but it can also be hard since in some niches, you have to follow the company's lead.

I'm not great at starting topics as I tend to answer my own questions. Replying is easy when I've got something to add.

For me it depends on the task at hand. I have a very small readership at the moment so am trying to create some interest to increase membership. I also am a moderator of a forum, and have been helping the Admin re-organize and categorize the many threads going. I think the experience of helping with another forum will increase my knowledge which can be applied to my own forums in the future.

It really depends on what kind of niche your forum is. If you are running low on ideas, it can be useful to join a few different websites news letters. You could be surprised at what you find.

For instance, I found out that they are trying to pass a bill that would make trolling illegal in Arizona, and get you a 25 year sentence.
(Lol seriously. I know it's off topic but here is the link: http://gizmodo.com/5898585/itll-soon-be-illegal-to-troll-in-arizona)

I generally find it pretty easy. I sometimes struggle to come up with new threads if I feel like I've been replying mostly and need to start new conversations, but even that's pretty rare. If I'm invested in a topic, then I enjoy it and it comes fairly natural.

That's stupid, did the law ever pass, or what's up with that?

I normally find replying a lot easier than starting topics. With my own site there's always something new in the tech world so new topics should be fairly easy.

It's really easy. I love posting in forums anyway, so it's not difficult to do the job. I also keep a list of good threads to start on my forums, so that I can post them on 'slower' days.

I love to talk. I talk a lot in real life and it is even better for me on forums as it gives me more flexibility and things to talk about. I find it easy to post virtually anything :D

I love to talk as well, I love being able to communicate with my members. It's because I have a very creative mind.

Posting topics are sometimes hard to think of for me, but I have no problem creating long replies, because that's easy for me when a question is already asked. I can usually create at least a few topics on my forum, and some days I create a lot more then a few it just depends on how hard I feel like working that day.

Some days I find it easy. Other days I draw a blank. One day I had a member start a post and when I read it I said I can't believe I didn't think of that. It was a simple question that fit my site perfect. With the site so new I try to just put a little out at a time. I should have posted it but it was nice to have someone else make that thread so I wasn't the one starting everything.

I don't think it's stupid. Bullying and trolling are hand-in-hand. People have many ideas of what a troll or what trolling is, but in general, trolling is bullying. I'm glad Arizona senators are doing something about trolling.

And what's worse is that other states are following suit in this regard. A couple of girls cut another couple of girls' hair. The end resulted in the mother having to cut her daughters' hair. *claps* I'm glad.

I read the news article about that one, and that daughter deserved it all. I wish there were more bullying laws in the school system though - such as suspending thouse who bully and/or expell them to an alternative school. People that bully never learn until something bad happens, or they're made fun of, etc.

When it comes to keeping the content flowing (as others pointed out) it's easier when the forum topics are something you are already familiar with so that the words just flow out of your fingertips without much effort. In times of writers block or topics one is less familiar with I find it handy to search authoritative news outlets for the latest in industry news. With the research / post method, you can read the article, type up 100 words about how you feel about it, quote 150 words of the article, and provide a source link to the official / complete article giving them credit for it. The research / post method can prove to be a life saver in times of need when things slow down a bit on your forums and you need that extra push to keep the blood circulating.

Generally speaking, I find it easy to post replies and to create new threads. I am a writer by trade anyway and as such I usually have a lot to say on many topics. As others have said, I also love to talk and this is just a form of online "talking." It is rare that I would struggle to do much posting.

I find it fairly easy, although I'm always somewhat put off by how it might look bad if a member sees the last ten or so topics are by the same person. As a result, while I could theoretically post hundreds of topics and god knows how many posts a day, I tend to make sure it's more like 5-7 topics a day instead.

And I don't want to flood the sidebar showing the last few topics and who posted them on my forum.

Due to my site being about my passion and main income earner (writing) then I never seem to be stuck. I can see certain courses I have forums for having to be expanded into their own categories in the future.

If I am interested on a certain topic or if I feel I can contribute something to it then it feels really easy. However, if I just want to post just to increase my forum rank or post count or something, it feels really hard and no matter how I tried to give an awesome reply, I end up deleting it all and never reply at all. I'm not fond of posting one liners and replies that doesn't really contribute to the topic at hand. I would rather post less but of high quality than post more but with rubbish contents.
