I created my forum two weeks ago, and right now I need to promote it, cause I'm only getting a few visits a day. I noticed that there are many SEO gigs on fiver. Some of them involve Linkwheels, Backlinks, Youtube Views, Facebook Likes, Twitter Followers, Paid Traffic (to boost your Alexa Rank And Google Rank, even when it is non converting traffic), etc.

The question is, should I spend money on those gigs? Do they really work? Of course I will only buy from high rated sellers and gigs with good rating and lots of good comments. But even with those safety measurements, do you think these gigs will do any good to my forum? So I can get more visitors and eventually make more money from my forum.

Please Let Me Know What You Think Guys.

Well, I never pay for SEO because if you have quality content, and link it via forum signatures, blog comments, and how facebook, users will come across your site regardless. Do you have your RSS feed set up to Twitter? And some people in the SEO industry can't be trusted, because they make promises, and they're not the search engine, so its basically lies. How much are they trying to charge for these gigs though? I'm quite curious, and its not a good idea to buy traffic because you never know where the traffic is coming from.

SEO boosting with software like Xrumer, ScrapeBox and SENuke does work. All the methods do work, but the sellers providing it are most of the time scamming you. If you wish to boost your SEO I just advice you to buy such software.

I agree with this, you can get far better results and they will be the exact ones you want.
I only buy applications that I pay once and I'm good to go. I know there is one (maybe xrumer) that you pay a ton for then a monthy subscription..lol

I've purchased the following and been happy with them
    bookmarking demon
a twitter follower app <^ I've had both of these for several years

scrapbox - just picked this up, very handy for several reasons

I have an rss submitted that I picked up a few years ago, I don't use it much now since the same function is now in BMD and SB

I've picked up a few other apps here and there but these are the top 3-4 that I still use every other week or so.

It's an ongoing process building links, don't get to tied up on just one method.

Yeah, I know about Senuke, etc. But the problem is that these products are expensive. The gigs I'm talking about are only $5. Some of the gigs offer to use their Senuke to give your site a boost. I guess that can be a good idea if the seller actually knows his stuff.

I wouldn't trust my SEO on some 4 dolar job guy. I got some excellent articles from some of their writers, but that's not as risky as getting your site de-indexed cause someone is not doing their seo job properly. So be VERY careful. You can do this on your own (just read about it) or hire some serious company. Which will cost you a lot, but at least they know what they're doing.

I would recommend not paying someone for SEO unless you have like a 3 to 6 month contract and they will show documented proof, because most of them are just using automated software. And after the Penguin update it has been seen that automated software will only hurt your site. Penguin layed the hammed down on all people using software for backlinks..
