I remember when I revamped my community from SMF software to vBulletin 4, also added in the CMS system to make my community have even more unique content. That was one of the first times I actually revamped and moved software.

More than I can count. We have changed domain names 4 times. We have been on our current domain name since 2004 though. I think we are good for a while on our current design and layout. At least until we switch to xenForo.

On the DJ board, I've revamped about 5 times:
    1. phpBB to myBB
    2. myBB to vBulletin
    3. Switched between using vB Advanced and not a few times
    4. Custom Style (3.6)
    5. vBulletin 4 upgrade (new style)

The main page has been through 5 redesigns in 6 years. The forum has had 4 skin changes and moved from SMF to IPB in the 6 years.

Wasn't happy with domain names until I got the current one.

CODForums went through 2 "revamps" before the current xenforo installation. We're planning another revamp - a custom skin.

MW2F/MW3F have gone through 2 domain name changes - MW2Forums/Boards > MW3Boards. We're going to go through another domain change soon.

And I had a Metal Gear community as a testing ground, until I decided to grab MetalGearFans.com

CarlosX360's Forums has been through many domain changes - .net, .me, a few subdomains as testing grounds, and then .co

How did your members relate to the Xenforo change? Did activity go up or anything?

Activity went up. A lot of members came back and posted more. I almost had 6 members logged in at once.

    Likewise, the traffic exploded.

That spike at the very far end was on it's own. No marketing, no advertising, and I didn't even have an article posted in relation to any news recently.
