I didn't test it which I normally do, just straight out upgraded it. To many people not much changed, but its the little things that have been fixed make a big difference overtime. I think that its good to see IB listening to the customers.

Was able to upgrade without any problems. Although I had to try and locate the name of my database which I eventually found and it was easy for me to upload and upgrade.

Tell us how it goes! I had a few issues with 1 style, in the midst of fixing it now.

Will do, was planning on doing it tonight but ran into a snag, still shooting for this weekend.
I saw there was a beta version out of 4.1.8 wasn't there?
Hadn't seen vb allow beta versions in a while.

I think they always use Beta First? 4.1.8 came with a beta first.

And what is with the wording they used, "Full Version"
Is this their way of introducing a "Lite Version"? Not trying to start a conspiracy here, but I don't ever remember that wording being used prior. Could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time.

It might be brand new, I always thought a Beta come first. I almost always wouldn't touch a beta on my website.

oh I' not arguing that beta comes first, then RC's but I'm saying that I don't remember when the last time vb offered a beta for the users to test (not the beta team)

So I updated a client to 4.1.8 with no problems, have another client that wants their site upgraded too.
Will hopefully get them taken care of early this week.

Thanks for the info. Not going to upgrade yet because not such a huge upgrade. I will wait for 4.2 because it has a couple new features I believe.
