Steve Machol leaving the vBulletin team?

So I read yesterday on another forum that Steve apparently left the vBulletin Team but I still see no official announcement on the vB forums, and Steve is still in the staff group. Can anyone please update me if you have any idea as to why he would leave?

 

Maybe it's just more rumours and speculation, you'd be surprised what people will beleive these days...Always best to wait for an official announcement, unless IB wish to keep things all hush hush for some reason

 

I think it's official, I'm on my phone right now but Steve did tweet it a few days ago.
I'll grab the link when I get back to the pc.
I've always liked Steve, we did argue a few times but he gets a lot of respect from me.

Knowing how vb has handled such things in the past, there probably will not be such an announcement.

 

I hate to say it, but I wouldn't be surprised if this didn't get an announcement from vb

Wasn't Steve one of the few Jelsoft what's the word...erm refuges before IB got their staff in?

iNet is Internet Brands (IB) call letters on the NYSE
