Restored back to previous AdminBB Database

Let me guess.. You got the DB from Digital Point, right? ( lots of scammers there, )

Anyway, you should always check the database before buying it ( let the seller import it on their host and let you see the posts, threads, members, etc ) . That's what I do.

If it's stolen or crap, I tell the seller that I'm not interested.

 

No its wasnt DP it was another forum.

 

Well the guy who sold it to me is now saying the admin of that forum sold it to him as it was dead.

Man that really sucks Kaiser, i hope you get your money back and report the scammer to whoever you can. I was looking forward to seeing AdminBB as huge as was going to be

 

Sites can get big even without the possibility of a database merge. I'm sure that even without the other database, this site will do fine, Kaiser. You've done an awesome job for months, keep it up!

 

As I said previously in this thread: We don't need that huge database, we are fine as it is and are growing reasonably well, we just need to keep at it with posting. That's all

Yup, we'll work hard, and bring this community to top levels - in terms of content, and activity. One day, who knows, a merge can happen with another community, but for now, this community stands alone, and can continue to grow, with the help of dedicated staff members, and members of the community.
