Publicity is publicity, right?

    Although thats true, its not as easy as it sounds. If the source is highly respected then it will be difficult to persuade them.

    Its a double edged sword, while it is good to get you site know be it good/bad. If it is bad new users who visit because of the bad press will already have a pre-concieved view on the forum and its usually a bad view.

    Yea, thats why bad publicity is not really beneficial in the long run.
