I'm battling health problems at the moment, plus I have a busy real life schedule overall, so definitely not as many hours as I'd like to, and I'm still working, so that's another drawback as well. But when I feel up to it and I have nothing to do/nowhere to go, I usually put in.... hmmm, hmmm, hmmm,... I'd say about 2-3 hours tops. Ordering services, bumping up topics, adding content and/or replying to posts. A lot of my time gets swallowed up in a hurry when I'm really in the mood to be on my site or online in general.

Sorry to hear about your health and work schedule. Life always comes first before anything else. Thats why I had left AdminBB for 3 whole months.

Well, I'll be gone for a week in July for Bible Camp, so that's going to be interesting as to how that turns out. As far as I'm aware, though, Kevin currently doesn't have his own forum, so worse case scenerio I could make him temporary owner until I return, and Ash is still in the techy department, so I'm not really worried about that either.

Is Kevin a mod or admin there? Make sure he is trustworthy before doing so.

He's a co-admin at the moment. Meaning he has SOME access to the ACP but he doesn't have access to all our features. And again, even if Ash doesn't agree that we could make him have more permissions, Ash is still the co-founder, so even if something does happen, he has the whole database so he can restore it if needbe, plus he has more permissions than either Kevin or I do at the moment, which is fine by me as I know nothing about phpBB from the tech side of things. And don't worry we always discuss new possibilities for even temporary appointments before trying our luck with everything, and I'll also see if I have a backup plan handy as well.

Okay, and yea if you do promote him temporary, make sure he will actually come on and help Ash. 1 week isn't much though.

No, that's true. I'm sure things will work out. I'll only be gone from Tuesday - Friday, so I'd be back online on Saturday, if not Friday Afternoon.

@Ashley: Whilst it's true I do have more access than you as it's my server, it's not because it's YOUR forum, all you have to do is log in to the PH client area and you will find all the details there for you to get your cPanel access, etc. ;)

I'm so sorry to hear that. When I was battling health problems, I brought in man power to help me run my community, my community did pretty well while I was gone, and when you have other people volunteer their time, they usually listen and help out, as you lead by example, ya know?

Well, I do have a decent staff team backing me up, so at the moment it's all good. They understand that I do have health issues going on and I can't be on as much as I'd like, so we all get along well in that sense.

Yea, its always good to have extra trustworthy staff as a backup to run things if you have to leave for some reason.

Indeed. And also to have members who are willing to become staff members and/or volunteers while you are away. Because, the more people involved, the better your community will become.
