Where do you advertise?

What websites do you use to get your forum or website known and more popular?

 

I advertise through signatures, twitter, and facebook. See my signature? It's advertising my community.

 

Noticed your signature the other day. Was going to join it but not a big fan of Virtual pets.
By advertising on facebook do advertise to your friends/random people or with the advert system they have?

 

I advertise on many other successful webmasters forums. And not just webmaster but any other genre. Your signature has to be the best way to get free advertisement. Always put it to use! Dont leave it empty.

 

Currently just on other webmaster related forums in my signature. I'm actually considering using BuySellAds sometime and buying some banners on some sites. Before I do that though, I need to work on making some good banners to attract people's attention

 

Yea, there is no point in having ugly banners because people will just avoid em and not click. Be sure to check out Advertising options here on AdminBB

 

I don't openly advertise. I usually advertise in my signature and through backlinks, but besides that. I dont buy ads as much anymore or post on "Promotion Forums".

 

I was never active on other Promotion forums except FP.. and I dont post there much anymore either. I used to be very active there.

I'm not advertising too much but posting in forum promotion doesn't help so signatures, more good for me.

 

It not going to help if you don't use Forumpromotion correctly, I have gotten a lot of members from FP. Just gotta advertise right and members will flow in.

 

I advertise with my affiliates since thats what my site is basically based on :]

 

Im sure you advertise on other places like here, and FP and others or else where do you get your affiliates from.

 

Of course in the begging i had to advertise in advertising forums and such but now my affiliates attract other affiliates to join

 

You should add some type of automated system like webstower where they can add the button's themselves and all you have to do is approve it.

 

I have that i just dont have the counter like they did. and there down now.

Ye i think domain expired and someone bought it out. cause it redirects to a new place :/

 

Yea I went to it, I think they just sold it. Because I visited it a month ago, and you have 3 months to renew a domain.
