Would you use vBulletin4 if it was free

    I wouldn't use either since I <3 xenforo but yes I like IPB alot better.

    Haha :P But something I really hate about IPB is that they went paid, while they had something like this on their site before: "PHP and MySQL are all free so why should pay for it?" But it would be awesome to see IPB free again.

    Yes I would use it to replace all my vB 3.8.x forums, I would however feel a bit cheated though, considering I've spent so much on licenses in the past and I'm sure people would get upset after paying $250 or $285 for the software :P

    I still have a vb3 license that I had before purchasing vb4. They both suit me but the xf format is so much more inviting anymore.

    I made a nice looking new style in minutes last week. There is no way that I could have done that even in vb3 let alone vb4.

    I would use it if free, it's a good software too. And the IB Team is doing their best to make the vB ver ywell and sure I would use it if free.
