Ex-Staff Trying To Ruin A Site?

I recently hired a long term member on my forum as head of our content team and two days later he resigned stating he had been offered a staff position at another site, so i removed his powers. The next day he pm'd me asking if he could have his job back because he preffered our site because it is on XenForo. I rightfully refused to make him staff again because of his dis-loyalty and for the fact he had resigned as staff but had changed his mind. I then received a pm from him today stating he was sorry and he linked me to a thread on xenforo.com where my site was veiwed upon as a spammers site because he had changed xenforo's wiki page to link to my forum, i asked him why he did that and he just replied "for the lulz" so ive banned him and his ip but what can i do now? he seems the type who is determined and wont give up easily.

Wow I hate people like that, you did the right thing. He wont stop until he does some serious damage, but unbanning him wont do any good either Shady. I hate lousy staff members like that, they feel like they can just leave and come back to where they were. As for the wiki page thats as low as it gets. If I were you I would warn other members of this person. You can post here, FP, And your site to warn members and let them know the situation.

Just try to handle it to the best of your abilities. Have a moderator post a reply to the thread on xenForo saying that it wasn't your fault and i think people will understand.

 

Leave him be, if he does something e.g. hack or etc you call 911 or in my case 999

its 999 where i am too lol but that number is for emergancys, if i did that they would laugh at me and give me a £80 fine lol

 

you could always use the police non-emergency number as hacking is a crime

Seems like a child was given a job he couldn't handle. You're going to have to do better "background check" next time before hiring a staff member. Tell Xenoforo that you weren't the one who did those things. I'm sure any understandable person would agree.
