Oh okay, yea the forum is very active, I remember it being even more active when black ops came out.

 

Is it a new domain or imported database? Good choice, though. Might buy some mw4 domains now haha.

 

New domain, they were originally BlackOpsForum.

how long did it take you before you got so big?

 

Took them sometime, but they are ranked high in google forum general mw keyterms thats one reason for their success.

Yes he did. It was on parked on SEDO with an open asking price.

BlackOpsForum was a trending keyword at the time when blackopsforum opened. But what caused John to advertise on this site is that google wasn't ranking them higher because of the fact that they changed domains. BOF domain was sold, and no redirection was offered.

But I have spent some time advising him of some tricks. And now the site is ranking #2 in google for the "mw3forum" keyterm. Go figure.

When I first came across the site, I had been seeing the growth.

The site was founded on BOF in April of last year [2010], the site got really big really fast during the fall of last year, he sold the site last november-ish/december-ish so the gap is between 7 or 8 months. Long story short, the site went through another ownership change, and then the owner decided out of his kindness gave it to someone else, that someone else did not have tech knowledge and gave it to John. Voila.

 

This site looks promising! Very big too, if I may say so myself.

Superb job.
